Can someone explain this to me?
I've seen this occur often in play and cannot figure out any kind of benefit from it and neither can anyone else in my league.
A player about 100 to 200 miles away sends either a raid or a siege to your castle. It takes upwards of an hour or more for it to get there. When it finally arrives it's one or two low level infantry. So the raid or siege fails.
What possible benefit could this be to the aggressor? You don't get a full troop display on failure so they aren't getting any details. If it's to incite retaliation why send it so far? I don't see how it could even be setting up a trap as who is going to go that far to retaliate?
It's to the point now that when I see a raid that far out I assume it will be one of these tiny attacks. I just don't see any logic or strategy behind this method. Am I missing something? Trust me when I say this happens with enough frequency that it feels like there must be some kind of reason for it. I should say I play in untamed lands.
