Mostly E, but occasionally an A. As we all know, the less you spend, the better the deals :-)

Statistically speaking, the vast majority of the accounts in the game have not had any money spent on them (look at all the bots and level 1-20 castles).  I don't know whether you count these as players.

As for current active players, I'd say there are two separate groups.  The ones who buy a few packages per year, and the ones who are buying one or more packages per week (because of the way plarium's algorithms work, these frequently bought packages also tend to be much larger, in the $50-$300 range, while the less frequent ones are in the $1-$20 range).

Personally, I've bought 1-2 packages in the last year.

Average player spends 0 or the updates wouldn't be 100% coin based
I disagree. I think you will find most players do spend money but not a lot. Many things like sketches must be won or purchased. I'm sure many are on budgets so they have to be very selective what they do buy.

as the non coiners quit... the average players become coiners.

I guess a survey to find out how many modest spenders have vowed never to spend another penny in the game due to Plarium's extreme greed approach to the game?

I know I for one made that vow and have been able to stick to it now for a LONG time. I am glad I have because when people are allowed to coin up a hammer's that measure in the billions overnight, it kind of makes any spending you do utterly pointless.

End of the day, the game will fade as someone sitt stroke his epen over the size of his massive hammer :p

The size of epic plarium long for :p

That are not bad offers. I can use those 5000 sketches, Would have bought that in a pinch of the eye.

Wow, 5k sketches for 10 bucks, that's a pretty good deal.

Don't pinch people's eyes though, that sounds unpleasant :0

I was truly hoping for more replies quickly.

My thoughts are more players spend low amount (10$ package 1-3 months). Which should be more of Plarium's bread and butter with less paying for the bigger packages. I could be wrong.

So how does so many recent updates, which are most targeted to large spending, benefit the game? I t is actually driving more away than bringing in more. While I'm sure they are still  making money with larger packages, which should be a higher profit margin ( just buying pixels after all). What happened to the average player?? Inability  to remain competitive has/is driving them the game.

This is in no way meant to belittle any player that has the ability or desire to spend their money here. Can I, yes, but choose not to anymore.
I think you are right - but I lost two players from my league this week one I would say was a non spender and maybe bought a very cheap package or two the other was a more than moderate spender but his time in the game was short lived (about 6 months or so)

After haveing not spent anything in over a year, I can understand a newer player leaving ( within 6 months).

In an advertised free to play game, one can not be competitive. While joining an established league with help and great advice does change the curve. The larger, more established league the bigger and more chance of enemies, brings different challenges to a newer player.

Many posting here have been in game a long time and most can recall the early leveling system, where you had to learn the game to level up. I was told by another player (long gone now), that the leveling change and coming changes would be the ruin of the game. Looking back, that was a true staement, not for that change but for the direction the game started to take.

Without level fighing caps and troop limits or balances there is no game.

I do also play another game, where yes I can send whatever troop count i want, ie:1 mil count with a 3.5 mil offense stat. And while you can not revive you get penalized for a lose also similar to losing levels. But the game is monitored in such a way intentional level dropping is caught to help maintain a more level playing field. It is not perfect either, but they are making the efforts to improve the players experience, and yes you can spend money for troops, boosts etc,,, not a single item is available that you can not get in free play with almost minimal effort, except speed boosts for buildings .

In the end, i find myself clicking on to login here each day, wondering if it will be my last time....
Well I'm guessing if it was possible to lose levels here people wouldn't be very happy, since some of them put a lot of work into getting their level up.  Some kind of troop limit is probably needed, but having an attack limit based on level is probably a bad idea since it punishes players for actively playing and leveling up.

I would have to agree here, the leveling system would not work as efficiently.

But it is one of many flaws when your looking at the game overall.

The melding of PVP vs PVE, and FTP and PTW, is not working.

We are left with a Pay To Win game,,,, without winners or without end...

you are left with a p2w game where, the f2p and small time coiners is left as food/entertainment for the bigger spenders. Its nice to know the average is the fuel that keep the game going, but for all the wrong reasons.
