Food

Why when you run out of food don't your troups die off ? Getting hit with somone that has 59k of troups just shouldn't happen .

yes it used to be that way but then plarium changed it so uber coiners could get even bigger armies and spend more money

Hello Dear neighbor


No troops don't die anymore. They now eat Gold and iron after negative food production and food being depleted. These feature was implemented some years ago to allow Lord and Ladies to have epic armies, thus EPIC battles

yes anyone can became a moderator, it's a voluntereer job, although many factors are taken into consideration. please read those links.

The reference is to FOOD note the mention of barns and farms - this no longer applies

Except the Moderator Oracle.... Food consumption & disbanding should be re-added, that change was the downfall of strategy in the game opening up Pandora's box and Bill Gates wallet.

What happens if you run out of food in real world, you will eventually starve right? So why no such problem in the game? How about give your units a penality to stats based on how much your food run in negatives. A starving army shouldn't be 100% combat effective.

starvation, is starvation regardless. Challenge you to not eat for a week! See how you feel about it then...

In the real world no amount of pikemen could beat a dragon, because the dragon can just fly over their heads and shoot fire at them.  This is a game, not real life.  Get over it.

I'm quite sure I played games where I slayed dragons with polearms, get over it! Also, In real world pikemen did trump the hardest hitting units at their time, knights/cavalry. do not diss pikes man :p

Still, starvation is starvation regardless. Why do units have food upkeep at all in this game when there is no penality to run in negatives? Only reason is to promote coining....

You're right about the real world :) No food = no life. However, one can starve for some time before one dies. Starving in Stormfall just takes longer ;) one can starve here for years...
