raid and seige mechanics

this last week i was raided on nords with the equivalent of 10 golems, 250 archers and 81 pathfinders out,  the other player had zero losses.

today on pirates i had the equivalent of 125 archers and 10 knights out, the other player lost the equivalent of 1 knight.

when i raid on stormfall with similar power, or less power or more power than the other players did on those two raids, those i raid always kill a larger amount than they should be able to.

do pirates and nords not use the raid mechanic?  and if so, will that change happen here?  is there some sweet spot in the raid mechanic where the 1/1 kdr does not kick in?

they oversent on their raids without paying the penalty that i do here.

I do not know the exact numbers but Nords has a very different calculator for raids and battlegrounds. The numbers required to overwhelm battlegrounds is much lower. Raids are similar but the Offense versus Defense is different. 


I do not play Pirates so I cannot compare the two.

yeah i thought pirates and stormfall were using the same playbook.  i know nords is a much different game.  i figured that on pirates there should have been a higher loss for the raider compared to what i lose in similar circumstances here.

Should be easy enough to test

Send a similar strength army of archers and bonnies to empty castles/havens with no walls, then ask a friend to attack using pikeman/marauders of known strength and compare the losses

I do this frequently for pvp sparring so both players get easy tournament points, but always use similar strength armies. I have never tried it with overwhelming strength

My only conclusion from my experiments is that the winner of any battle will lose extra units because plarium added the Victory Tax

it might be that there are many factor to take into consideration now, too many boosts have come into effect lately, relics, fort boosts, buildings boosts, league boosts from achievements, ect.

A level 1 Player in a league such as Emperor start with many boosts, from league achievements only, compared to other players. the boosts can be up to 45 %. when he add relics and others his basic archer will be over 100% boosts, and worst most of these boosts are rarely showed on units statistics window. And there are many league achievements that adds 5% to defense, 

Maybe you failed to take those in consideration too.
