Yeah sorry, but a lot of the info in that is wrong. All resources count the same towards loading battlegrounds, there is no difference between troops that cost mostly iron, gold, or food. And low level battlegrounds are just as good as high ones. you can get 100% returns on level 30-40 battlegrounds, the payouts just won't be as big as on the higher ones (but you also won't have to lose as much to get a payout, so it balances out). jeez, if low level battlegrounds gave under 50% returns we would never even finish the global missions...
here is a chart of the banking value for each level infest, you want to have about 80% that amount in the bank when you kill the infest. it's from total domination, but the values are the same here. there are some holes or weird numbers in it, so if one seems off just estimate by the ones around it

Well, as far as I know all resources are not count same to load battlegrounds. Amount of Gold and Iron has effect on troop reward. But the percentage of reward form level of battleground is wrong. It is confirmed by plarium that reward covers %90 to %95 of resource deposited to bank. If bank has more than what the level of BG required than it pays resource as well as troops. The other mistake is that bank doesn't reset after reward is paid. If you start sending troops to a new level 100 BG and finish it without reward, then your bank has %90 to %95 resource to cover the reward for a level 100 BG. I have got 5000 dragons from level 100 Red BG and 17000 Griffens from level 100 Green BG. So, it needs lots of troops to fill the bank first. But if you fill the bank with high level BG e.g. level 100 then you attack low level (eg. level 50 or lower) then you can get reward from multiple BGs in a row since bank has a lot more that what that BG level would pay. I have done this several time and I know it does not reset bank although I don't suggest it because there will be waste in each reward. It is better to get one big reward instead.

My Lords, the information in the wiki is collected and written by other players as you. If you have your own facts, strategies to share, you can also write an article here.
http://wiki.plarium.com/index.php?title=Battlegrounds%3A_Tips ....
YOU SURE ? NO LYING NOR OTHER STUFF ? CAUSE THE SO CALLED FACTS ON THIS PAGE ARE BULL**** as in **.
at first: i can´t edit the ****** page nor can i create a discussion page.
2nd i am playing the game as an app on a smart phone. rune bg´s aint giving runes. they aint giving runes i am so sure of that, that i am even betting money on this one. someone is willled to bet against it? how about you Lord Oberon ?
2.1 nd the payout or so called maxing payout doesnt work either. i did a normal battle ground (lvl 23), nearly finished it and did then another normal bg (lvl 21) and returned then to the first one..... no payout.
before this and after this, i did several bg´s no payout.... some time ago i did bg´s without thinking and strategies and got in total 2 payouts. but it was some timeeee ago. after these payouts i did several bg´s and used more then 3k of archers and 1,2k of dwarfs and no payout.
this guide at http://wiki.plarium.com/index.php?title=Battlegrounds%3A_Tips is just so useless.
is it understandable when i wanna shoot the person who wrote it, straight in the head ?

My Lord! I ask you to controll your expressions.
If you are playing mobile version, this forum is for you >>http://forum.plarium.com/en/stormfallrob/
Stormfall: Age of War and Stormfall: Rise of Balur are totally different games. So, the mechanics, rewards, Quests can differ.
I think I must be missing something here. If the rewards from attacking battlegrounds is less than the cost of the losses you get from the attack, then what is the reason to attack at all?
Early on, especially, I suppose it's a way of converting low level units into higher level units, potentially needing less food to support?
Maybe the margin is made up by advances in levels and the rewards associated with that?
On the whole, though, I find attacking battlegrounds isn't a winning strategy.

Then you're not doing it right ;)
If you aren't making a profit off battlegrounds then you should rethink your strategy.
Clearly, but to what? I've tried overwhelming force. I've tried just enough force. I've tried sending someone in to lose so I know what I'm facing. Once and awhile I hit a big score, but overall I seem to lose more units than I gain.
So what's your trick? And why did you send the Silent Ones in with your force. What do they add?
What you send in the final hit influences the type of troops you win. I wanted griphons, and I increased the likelihood of getting them by including silent ones.
To do well in battlegrounds you have to follow the banking chart. Troop payouts are based on resource value of troops lost since the last payout, and you have to load a certain amount of resources in before you can get a payout on a given level of bg.
Also, the bgs seem generally pay out better during global missions, so this is the best time to do them.

Where would someone go to find this banking chart?
Alright, so.
Im using this Battleground calculator stuff to guide me through.
I fought, sent in my waves, lost a lot of troops and so on and what do i get as a reward ? A god damn 6 knights and 2-4k of each resource.
This is massive bull... I lost so much more...
So, what did i do.
I sent total of 90 pikemen, 84 paladins, 21 knights, 1 warlock, 1 griffin, 17 archers and 5 arbalesters in little waves to different BGs from lvl 7-11 (11 being my scull BG) until the "bank was full"
I did manage to raid a couple of lvl 7 BG´s (with 15 paladins, who knew) before my bank was full, so i didnt get any reward from there, apart from the usual 100 gold and iron and food, but i didnt complete my lvl 11 scull BG, i ketp it on the edge.
So when my bank was full, i hit the next highest BG i had from the lvl 11 scull one, which was lvl 9 BG.
After successful hit i got the shitty mentioned 6 knights and couple thousand resources.
What did i do wrong..?
My Lord! This calculator wasn't created by Plarium, that's why I cannot suggest you to use it or guarantee you good results.
If you have received some insignificant reward, this means that the rest of the payout will be issued over some period of time. If you sum up all the rewards you are given within a certain period, you will see that your payout takes 95-98% of your total losses for the same period.

Every bg has different composition, and hence one cannot plot an accurate chart showing losses or how much troops it will take. But there is a minimum amount of off/def power required to clear every bg that may be considered the optimum
hi ultron you are a moderator here thats cool pal :) you dint said that tho ...
