Timers tick at different rates?

There is a development race going on, so I specifically set my days long constructions to end BEFORE the event is up (for all the precious sketches!).  I use boosts to ensure that I have at least an hour to spare.

Three times now, I go and check later, and the timers drift apart.  So I spend more boosts to get the timer back to an hour before the event is up.  Etcetcetc.  The drift rate is about 10 minutes per 8 hours.

I *THINK* this has something to do with the dragon timer boosts.  That is, it is activated so the build takes less time.  Dragon timer goes off and it reapplies all the time the dragon had reduced.   You reactivate dragon boost but its now x% of a reduced number, so its less than the original boost.  If that is what is causing it, then it can not be the intended behavior.  Maybe want to check that algorithm?

Thanks.

I think I've decided this might be intended and the mechanic.

The lesson is that you just should not use your boosts preemptively - rather only to finish up the build.
Otherwise all the various temporary timer reductions make a mess of trying to strategize effective boost timing.

the drift happens more random with me, and i do not use dragonstone construction boost.  i usually have to make sure i am 4 hrs ahead of the end of the tournament.  this time i had 1818 in points and showed that i should get 60 sketches, i got 40
