Cannot Buy Imperial Dwarves for Sapphires

There seems to be a problem here.

On my Server 1 account I tried to buy 100 Imperial dwarves for sapphires - sapphires gone - but no dwarves.

I tried again to buy 100 dwarves -again sapphires gone and no dwarves.

Next I tried to buy 500 dwarves, costing 500 dwarves - 2k sapphires disappeared - but no dwarves ...

Without these troops I will now fail to do the Mareth weekly BG quest and not get reward - all the BG time done this week wasted, as well as my sapphires gone !
