I understand the frustration of the players , as I'm not lucky at all when I open my Holy during the x2 event . Sometime i'm lucky and i receive  the champions grade V , and sometime bad luck ,i receive just grade IV !

I remind you also that x2 doesn't mean you open 2 holy bonds and one is for sure a grade V !

Maybe the players have to wait for the guaranteed champion event ,where opening 3 bonds ,one is guaranteed grade V , just saying...

The chance of not getting a grade 5 from one holy bond is 50% during the event.  The chance of not getting a grade 5 from x holy bonds is 0.5^x.  So the chance from not getting a grade 5 from 7 holy bonds is 0.5^7 which comes out to a bit under 1%.  That may sound very low but with thousands of people doing the event it's bound to happen to a few of them.  There's probably somebody else out there who opened 7 holy bonds and every one of them was a grade 5.
