Same here as well . Seems if you sign out your group hunt stops but the xp boost time does not . You sign in and it starts the hunt again wasting emeralds because without the xp booster on it takes twice as many hits to finish a hunt . If this is a glitch some petty prize is not cutting it this time lots of wasted emeralds and points lost . Auto is useless if I have to sit there signed in to use it . Plus I have wasted my money on packages to use in the future . Pay check cut off till this is fixed ! ! ! !

The Paitiense Gifts offered as a compensation are by far too unfair compared to the losses incurred and vanished gaming plans/expectations.
But... to be honest, its not really about compensation, it is just that the BUG is such a disaster - fix it please and never let it happen again.
To be honest now its on day 4 with no answers . It is hard to take in that a game glitch this bad would be left in place this long . Most of us now are asking was this a glitch or a sneaky catch to bring in more money by wasting everyones emeralds and activators . Messed up the entire last brawl event . Even event tab is staying green saying to collect on a event and there is nothing to collect on many players accounts .
Please be informed that the issue connected with the Undead Hunting Campaign is now resolved; this feature works correctly now.
Сompensation will be awarded soon to those players who have used their Hunt activators and other items to boost the Hunting Campaign, so stay tuned for the updates.

I am sure it was a hard time for both, players and the Plarium crew. Yes, it was hard for players to take losses day after day, and yes it was hard for the crew to find the solution under the press of our pushy complaints. Looks like the problem was really huge, and thanks for solving it!
Since the problem is over, I personally am happy with just the fact that the game is back to its normal... no matter what compensation is offered.
