Liberate castle champion bug

Server: Farwol's Crown

Platform: Client

Character: Desperado

Screenshot: Champion, Error

Event: Personal event, liberate a castle

Description: Going into the sieged castle and selecting "Liberate" system gives us only choice of Lydia as champion. When we select troops and press "Send" it pops an Error: "We cannot complete this action with a champion of this type". However, game doesn't allow us to picl any other champion. Plz fix.

i think its not a bug if not an action you cant perform.

i mean, the defense champion is for your castle, you cant at least for now send a defensive castle champion to reinforce another different castle except yours. its the same when you send your offensive as reinforcements to a parthner for a league attack, you cant send him the beacon attack champion. for now that is the mechanic of game about champions but i think the devs has been passed the ideas to allow us to send some champions as reinforcements for the required action.

So we only needed to wait from 14th October to the end of December to get the answer that we already knew

So why was this thread ignored for so long?

We actually need the option to CHOOSE which Champion to send - We already get this choice when sending Champions to Hamlets

In fact, there are many situations where we would like to send more than one champ (def+spy etc)

We were forced to argue for weeks in the Suggestion Thread (now closed) just to get heard, but now the devs are treating this as an unimportant Suggestion instead of a needed bug-fix

Stop trying to micro-manage everything and learn to LISTEN to your customers

Devs plan to fix it at the end of December and give players an opportunity to send Offensive Champion for the Castle's liberation.

This thread is related to bug reports. Currently, and before, the feature has been working as intended. However, as it has been specified, devs plan to change the feature and you should be able to send Offensive Champion for the Castle's liberation. Please use the Game Discussion thread to share your feedback. Our community managers collect the feedback and forward it to the devs. Support agents do not collect suggestions in Bug Reports thread.

No they are saying it's not a bug it's working as it was meant to . But due to players wanting it changed they have put it on their to do list. So the developers are working it into their planned changes.

By making it impossible to send ANY champion they deprive us of any bonus

Even if we could send the WRONG champion we would still get the 25% bonus from Element

This is a bug

Have you actually tested it?

The bug which prevents a champion being sent should be fixed immediately, and they could make the other changes later (as planned)

If they give this such a low priority then I expect it to be postponed to end of January or February

It is my understanding that the bug-fix team works separately to the Development team, so it should be no hardship

It has not been changed yet Please be patient give the developers some time. It's not the only issue they are dealing with . :)

You keep calling it a bug it is not it's how it was meant to be at it's conception. But they are doing their best to listen to players and are going to change it in the near future. A bug is something the doesn't do what the developers intended it to. Sometimes the intended features need tweaking when players point out a need for a change in the mechanics of an update . We as players out number developers so it's very possible we see things from a different point of view than they do. It's awesome that Plarium is listening and changing some things We have only to give them time to get it right ! Hurrying them into a quick fix could end up causing Game Glitches so let's give them time to get it changed with the least amount of techno Backlash aka glitches

Sorry Wesley, but there does seem to be two separate issues here

There is a bug which stops us from sending a champion, and it makes no difference whether we try to reinforce or liberate, or try to send offense or defense units (not champion)
All we get is an Error Message

I would not be surprised to see the changes in December ignore the bug and we be no better off

Once it is fixed, which champion would we use for liberations? Castle defense one wouldn't make sense, since although it's a reinforce action you use offense units to do it.

Liberation has never been a reinforce action

It is that flawed assumption which caused this problem

Using the Reinforce button is just a short-cut

Hopefully, they will allow us to choose which champion to send

Most sieges are only one archer, so we dont need to send big offense, but we might want to send defense units with a defense champion

My main concern is that our enemy will still be allowed to use our Castle Defense Bonus
