I appreciate the pvp events but a legendary pvp with a x8 yields only heavy troops.  300k experience points for 20 cretan archers and 400l experience points for 50 archers?

You are correct.  Since it is an XP tourney, I am included in it by default under normal game play circumstances, so in order to truly opt out, I must log for 2 weeks.

No surprise that the rewards will always be like this ,they still want you to pay, but they also trow you some dust in the eyes with such events in order to make you believe you are getting something free. Just a marketing big multiplier number (you just couldn't put some better rewards could you ? It's not like we are going to run away with INTANGIBLE goods (try to keep sales high?), plus a luring video and GG 

Yea... not even worth mentioning since it's always the same.

There is a (little, little) good thing though : in the PP tournament, you get 20 imp promachos for 300 points, which is more than ever before !! SAVAGE.
