i lost all my offence troops because xerxer raided a level 5 persian cohort that had my reinforcement, is this a bug? Can i get those troops back and how to avoid this?

Please be aware that you need to send a corresponding type of Units to any Persian Position. Offensive Units should be sent to "red" Positions, while Defensive ones - to the "green" Positions.
