Haiz~~~
it been ages we seen any new unit or goody going on.
i still remember the time of manticore and minataur was around, and count the time it been half year of any new unit appear after the roman geek come along.
should there be more update going??
new feature or new building maybe???
You're injust, we got the nice legates and evocatus since then. :)
And I'm quite happy with my bunch of carthaginian horsemen, that didn't sound that great when they were issued (and I was still saving my GPS for regular cavalry then), but whose swiftness is very useful to perform quick raids and other special operations...
All these were recent additions.
Now I'm glad I didn't swap all my excess GPS for scrolls as I started to do. I always save a few hundreths of them for potential new units, as they have always been added quite regularly... I did well. ;)
Nice~~~!! good for you, now your a perfect player.
try check the phalanx list, there only 5, while other class has almost 8 of them
plarium should focus adding more phalanx unit to over come the lack of phalanx.
btw im not a offensive city so i don't really use much of the GP, just stock them till future new thing.
meanwhile im focus on training level20 agreement mounted peltast, they come in handy than legate that use denari, when denari only happen when trading at the building or capturing denari colony.
it hard to get level 20 agreement on legate when the resource needed is max of your grain storage.
there always some1 out there trying to raid us when trying to stock as much grain for Legate Agreement.
Since political units were introduced, walls became a bit usless... Except against players fighting with honor.
Else we now have Sassirophoroi, Promachoi and Evocati as offensive phalanx, and Thuerophoroi and Thorakitai as defensive phalanx, covering different kinds of attacks, which encourages to build mixed armies.
But maybe some additional high end defensive phalanx could be added, why not. Let's wait until the suprise is known... :)
The only problem with denarii earned units is you never get them from Persians nor quests (same for all new units actually), so we have to build them, and it's a long process...
Denarii change has its own pace. You can't go faster, apart from holding denarii settlements.
We don't know if the new units will use them anyway.
Some German and Gaul tribes were used as mercenaries by the Romans (or even incorporated in the Legion), which would justify denarii use, but we don't know what's really coming... ;)
