Complete New Coalition Missions

Complete New Coalition Missions!
Dominate Your Rivals And Earn Massive Rewards!

Archons!

Good news for all Coalitions - new Coalition Missions are available!

Participate in Coalition Missions, assert your dominance over your rivals and receive huge Rewards!

Coalition Missions are special operations that allow you to cooperate with your Coalition members to complete global objectives. All Coalition Missions are given at random, and each Coalition will have 24 hours to complete them. Participation is optional, however each completed Coalition Mission grants huge Rewards to your Coalition. Each Mission features multiple phases. Upon completion of each phase of a Mission, your Coalition will be rewarded with increasingly larger Rewards. All Rewards received are stored at the Market, within the "Misc." tab.

The “Operation” window of a Mission has 2 tabs.

The first tab contains:

  • The Coalition Mission description;
  • The time remaining;
  • Mission progress;
  • Your current Reward, according to the number of Points earned. The second tab displays the contribution of all Coalition Members towards the completion of the Mission.

NOTE: There are several types of Coalition Missions:

1. Train Units: to complete this Mission, a Coalition must hire Units that are worth the indicated number of Power Points. NOTICE: You will NOT receive any Power Points for Units added to your current Unit production queues before your Coalition received the Mission.
2. Engage Positions: to complete this Mission, a Coalition must earn the indicated number of Points by attacking or defending regular Positions. If your fellow Archons engage Campaign Mission Positions, the Points they earn will be added ONLY to their Ranking and won't help complete the Coalition Mission.
3. Raid rival Cities: to complete this Mission, a Coalition must gain the specified amount of Resources from Raids.
4. Complete Divine Quests: to complete this Mission, a Coalition must complete the required number of Divine Quests.
5. Kill enemy Units: to complete this Mission, a Coalition must earn the required number of Points by destroying enemy Units
6. Downgrade Enemy Pantheons: to complete this Mission, a Coalition must earn the required number of Points by downgrading Enemy Pantheons.

But alas, nothing good lasts forever. Henceforth, all Reward packs received for completing Coalition Missions shall expire after 3 days. Be sure to claim them from the "Misc." Tab of the Market before that time! If you are too late, you will see the Reward pack marked as expired. Click "Remove" to clear it from your Market.

Do not let your well-deserved Rewards go to waste! Make haste, and contribute to the greater glory of your Coalition!

Look on the left side of your screen. there is a new icon there with what looks like a swordsman in red holding a shield. Hover over it and it says ` coalition mission`. You might need to reload the page or even clear your browser cache to see the icon.

Good luck!

We've been refreshing / reloading all day ... a few of our coal can see this new feature many cannot. Other coals are already doing them. When will this be fixed?  Along with the chat vanishing?

Well, I think Plarium needs to rethink their definition of "HUGE" and "MASSIVE".

So for example, the tier 3 reward our coalition achieved was:

 1K timber, 1K Bronze, and 1K grain  (seriously, 3K in res total is not HUGE or MASSIVE..I can get that raiding an abandoned lvl 10 city daily.)

1 25% Map (ok that wasn't too bad)

1 elixir box (whoohoo..one whole level 1 elixir)

and 2 Sarriso.  (seriously..2..wow..speechless)

So yeah, we didn't see tier 4 because we needed 60K points, but we did hit tiers 1,2 and 3 and ..to be frank..they were "Weak" rewards at best.

IMHO, none of them even came close to the term HUGE.  (and again, granted we didn't get the final Tier 4..but seriously if the other 3 tiers are that weak..I doubt tier 4 would be any better).

In conclusion, we liked and enjoyed the event, we really did..however the rewards were kind of anti-climatic.  And I am not asking for much, just something that makes you think "Oh yeah that was a nice bonus".   Instead you opened that reward chest with excited anticipation only to see the reward and think "what the hell?  This is it?!?!".

Its like an 8 year old opening their Christmas present to get a pair of underwear..and they aren't even super-hero underwear...just plain whitie tighties.

Would it kill you to give out maybe 1K at tier 1, 5K at tier 2, 10K at tier 3 of timber/bronze/grain....say 25 peltast or a 30min boost at tier 3...heck 25 dominion points seems reasonable..something so that the reward actually feels like an accomplishment and not a complete let down.

UPDATE: Corrected the actual rewards...the "one" dominion point and the 1 10minute boost were in the tier 2 award.

Not entirely true (getting something for free as you call it)...we had to pay a price because our coalition mission was to defeat enemy units..that meant going out and spending quite a bit to fight people in order to make our tier targets (some spent drachma, other non-coiners time and resources).  In other words, the opportunity costs of the whole mission far outweighed the rewards.  So in your case, you were better off not doing it anyway.  At least if the mission isnt showing up, you arent tempted to try and end up losing much more then you gain.

UPDATE: Well, I now realize the missions occur multiple times a week, in which case the reward sizes are more understandable as they are given out much more frequenlty then originally anticipated.  In such consideration, I have to rescind my thought that the reweards are weak, and state they arent as bad as originally suggested by myself.

No, you be happy you were unable to do them cause they are junk missions and the prizes are less then amazing.

Please note that the missions reward all members of a coalition, so a prize of 2 sarissophoroi for a 100-man coalition is a bonus of 200 sarissophoroi. Also note that these will be, for the most part, daily, so you should not try to strain yourselves if a reward is out of your reach.
