What I see so far ( not even sure some of them count as mistakes)
1) The ant-aircraft gun
2) The flag on the roof, no flags back then.
3) The statue front-right is out of position
4) "Xerxes go home".. vandals! lol
5) No shadows for any of the soldiers
6)The blue plant (not sure)
7) The pink cloth on the left (not sure)
8) The shadow of the right kneeling statue (not sure)
9) Half of the sentries hold their shields in the left hand (not sure)
10) The gardener holding the scythe behind him (not sure)
11) No shadow on the front-right tree (not sure)
12) The spike is missing on the top right corner of the temple (not sure)

And I'll add a clue for all: shadows were in no way changed or removed, neither from objects nor from people. Perhaps some additions to the picture come with their own shadows, but then the solution would be naming the newly introduced item, not simply its shadow.
I've taken a look at the original and the above copy on a high res monitor and I don't recognise any differences in the shadows but depending on your monitor, resolution and colour depth, as well as the fact the images were screen-captured in jpeg and stored in png might conceivably have altered the colour palette ever so slightly.
So I'm planting a flag here saying: forget shadows :-).

Regrettably, the two small boats in the northern canal count as one mistake:-(. I hope you do not think this too unfair, but remember that life was a constant struggle in Hellas, always in danger of having The Fates meddle in mortal affairs :-).

Great effort indeed but what is wrong about the boat(s), wrong shape for the period?
Also, I have a Samsung S27G500 monitor and all I see in 5,6 and 12 is just empty spaces!

I'm afraid you might have misunderstood the task slightly: we are not looking for historical mistakes, but rather mistakes in comparison to the depiction of the War Council in-game; for example at position 5 stands a priest in the original.

You found 6 mistakes, Wy added 5 more. IMO it's all very simple now: he, or she. who identifies all 12 mistakes correctly (or submits a drawing à la Wy) gets the dough :-)

PS: Nope, it's not a missing spear. I did early on attempt to equip one of the guards with a Kalashnikov but later discarded that idea, the pixel depth is simply not there for such minute changes.
Final tip: The 12th mistake is perhaps difficult to spot, but is in no way particularly small, not some mean-spirited displacement of a few pixels.

Yes, a pity, you did so well. When I first glanced over your post I was sure you had it, alas one boat made the difference:-(.
