Too costly for common sense

It appears that the Plarium designers planned on making the upgrade sketch levels of the infirmary a very valuable benefit since they priced it ridiculously high.  Maybe it was supposed to raise the free revival rate of defense units to 40 or 50%?  As implemented, it raises the free revival rate of OFFENSIVE UNITS ONLY to 35%.  I think I have lost a total of 11 offensive units defending my city in the last 3 months!  I understand that raising the % of the free revived defenders could imbalance the game but pricing a useless upgrade at 700+ sketches is ludicrous.

The awards for upgrading the infirmary should include a dunce cap.

Change the benefit to be commensurate with the cost or remove the upgrade sketch requirement.

I totally agree that it must be upgraded also the defense it revives, but it ms also revive offence. For example if I forget to send my offence to acropolis? They die.

This is the point.

But this is to get it to level 14, how about levels 15 and 16 ? Does lvl15 revive 35% of defense as well and then lvl16 40% of offense ? of both ?

Greetings. The price was set according to data analysis and game balance. Unfortunately, we are not planning to change it.

It is an imbalance in itself, infirmary upgrades before sketches were equal... 30% free revivals for offence and defence troops and you didnt have to pay for the privilege. Now for sketches it splits 5% per infirmary upgrade to give offense up to 50% while defence still remains at 30%.  Not exactly what you could call game balance, if one is given increase while to other remains as standard.

But it's not a typical situation when you leave your Offense outside, right?

Exactly,  increasing only offense free revivals % that are defending city, doesn't serve a lot of purpose for infirmary upgrades.

But it helps a bit if you've suddenly forgot to hide your Offense, right?

The point is that the infirmary upgrade to the sketch level has only an occasional marginal use to protect idiots from their own mistakes (if you leave 100 agemas outside AND they get killed you get 35 revived for free instead of 30) and for that barely useful feature the game wants you to pay the heaviest toll in sketches of any building improvements??? Definitely something wrong with the math here.

Unless the point is to force players to buy a useless improvement in order to be able to continue getting building upgrade bonuses.  It has been obstructing my access to further bonuses for over a month now.  To be clear: I will never buy it!  At least Plarium should provide an option to disregard it or a time limit after which it goes away so you can continue with other building improvements.  As it is it looks like extortion.
