It would be nice to have the ability to see one's contacts' notes when viewing their cities on the map, and/or through the battle reports when hovering over their name. This would enable saving the time it takes to go back to the contact list and search for them in order to see what we wrote or to make a note update. Below is an indication of where the notes could be displayed.
