Relocation Pools - unsettling questions
Archons!
The gods anticipated that Relocation Pools would raise a lot of unsettling questions. For example, if I relocate, is it truly me that relocates, or a copy of myself? Is the original “me” destroyed?
The gods recommend putting aside these petty concerns. They have compiled a practical list of answers to common questions, so that you can relocate your City with confidence.
A Pool of Fate and a Pool of Fidelity are powerful tools, and it is important that you know how to use them. Let’s begin!
Basic Questions about Relocation Pools
Question (Q): What are the Pool of Fate and the Pool of Fidelity? How are they different?
Answer (A): Pool of Fidelity is a special items used to relocate a City to the coordinates of your choice on the Map. Pool of Fate is used to relocate a City to RANDOM coordinates on the Map.
Q: What is a Vacant Zone?
A: Vacant Zones are special zones where other Cities can be moved. Vacant Zones cannot be raided, reconned, etc. When a City Relocates, its original coordinates turn into a Vacant Zone. If a player is inactive for an extremely long time, their City will turn into a Vacant Zone. When that player logs in again, their City will be automatically relocated.

A: Galleys sent via the Port will always travel to a City using the coordinates which are indicated at the moment of the trade offer’s acceptance. If those coordinates are a Vacant Zone by the time the Galleys arrives, the Resources and/or Articles will be delivered to an empty space, and no one will receive them. The Galleys will then return, empty, to their senders.
