If my city defense pezois ability activates. What units will be affected (the tool tip says "units"), defending pezoi, or ALL defending units, no matter which type?

How much bonus will I get exactly? The bonus is a percentage? My guess is this is an increase in my total current defense bonus, is this correct? (Fx. If I have a total city defence bonus of 10 000, which means 100% increase, with a 50% pezoi bonus incease researched, ie. the max, I would receive a 15 000 city defence bonus, ie. 150% defense increase, instead of 100% without the bonus activation. Is this correct?)

On a pantheon, lets say max level 5, you get 25% defensive bonus. How much increase does a pezoi activation success give? From the example above, would you gain 50% percent increase on 25%, ie 37.5%? (not very good), or 25% +50% extra for a total of 75% defense bonus with activation? I think the first is correct, but that would mean its a very bad bonus.
