Cost of unblocking guardians in coalition arena event and reaching ring 100

When I want to unblock a guardian it doesn't tell me how many resources it's going to take when I mouse over the "unblock" button. If I click on the button to unblock will it let me know how many resources it will take if I choose to proceed, or will it simply take the resources without me knowing how much it's going to take? If it doesn't let you know in advance then does anyone here know how many drachmas it costs and where you can obtain guardian type unblockers and how much they cost too?

My second question is, am I correct in understanding that given that there are a maximum of 15 types of guardian and each type of guardian can be used twice if they are all unblocked after the first use, then each player can participate in the coalition arena event a maximum of 30 times? If so it seems unlikely that most coalitions would be able to reach ring 100 with 12 or more challengers to defeat per ring (i.e. over a thousand challengers to defeat) because even with spending the maximum on unblocking guardians the coalition wouldn't have enough guardians to play as those members who haven't played their guardians very much up till now will probably not have 15 types of guardian and even those who have been playing a lot may no longer have every type of guardian due to sacrificing some types to level up those which are likely to be stunned more often.

Assuming the cost of unblocking guardians is not prohibitive, I wonder if it is still possible to progress to ring 100. I understand some of the later rings have a lot more than 12 challengers to defeat and most coalitions don't have many big coiners or very many members who are prepared to spend several hours every day. Those who are already working too hard at the game would have to step up their activity even further in the hope of winning a holy summoning bond and then it might not be possible due to the limit on how often guardians could be sent. That is far too much pressure to expect players to put up with. If, after all that effort, noone wins a holy summoning bond then it is obvious that most coalitions will stop playing the guardian arena event and I suspect that many people, after so much sacrifice of their time and energy and resources including real money in many cases will become disgusted at their waste of effort and quit the game. I do understand that if there were not some sort of limit then one or two players could progress to level 100 single-handedly, but to restrict the guardians to 1 use per type or 2 uses with unblocking makes it virtually impossible for any coalition to collectively play enough guardians to reach the 100th ring. Why not, instead of limiting the play to twice per type of guardian, make it instead 1 or 2 uses of each individual guardian, then if you have several of the same type they can all be used. This way, a player, while they would still not be allowed to play the same individual guardian many times, would at least have more than 30 plays in total over the course of the event and have a more realistic chance of reaching and completing ring 100. And this will help those players who have very few types of guardian to manage 30 plays.

The higher the rings the more difficult the adversaries... already at ring 20 only guardians grade II to V can be used and the adversary levels are also higher so higher level Guardians are required.  I assume that at the highest ring levels 80-100 only grade IV and V guardians (and maybe only V) can be used and all will require 30,000 points to defeat so only fully upgraded rank 5 and 6 guardians will be able to defeat them.  To be successful every coalition will have to keep the high grade/high rank guardians in reserve for the upper rings and send their lower level members with low ranking guardians to clear the lower rings.  The ring 100 awards look fantastic but nobody will ever get them as far as I can tell.  Nordmann reached ring 80 and leads all coalitions.  I don't know if they are stalled yet... but likely since all their active high level players have probably already maxed out their contribution and all they have left are less active and lower level players who may not have the fully developed guardians needed to continue. Next arena event they will be better organized and keep their best players out until the end of the tourney so maybe they'll get close to ring 100.

Unblocking more than 5 guardians is too expensive... the first few are cheap 2-25 emeralds but then the cost skyrockets.  I unblocked 7 of my 15 and the last one cost 100 emeralds. After that I don't know.

Thank you Mikalosos and Ioannis for your replies and very useful information :)

The total amount of emeralds needed will be more than most players have, especially as Plarium have reduced the emerald payouts for levelling up. However, it might be possible if one plays the guardians for a long time every day. A way to do it might be to work extra hard on them during the weekly tournament and use a few energy recharges, which no doubt most of us already do. I'm glad I already used a lot of emeralds early on to open up slots for my guardians otherwise there would be no way to have enough space for guardians if the emeralds are now all going to be spent on unblocking guardians. I've noticed it's a waste of time spending 200 emeralds on an epic summoning bond as you nearly always get a green grade 2 guardian instead of a pink grade 4 one. I just wait for the rare occasion when I win an epic bond and hope I'll get a grade 4 guardian. I have noticed that during recent guardian XP tournaments they say if you use 10 epic summoning bonds then one of them will be guaranteed to win a grade 4 guardian so I started saving up my emeralds for that. Now I see one will have to choose between that and spending them on unblocking guardians in the coalition arena event or else spend real money to do both.

As it's stated on your screenshot, you can use a Guardian type unblocker or Drachmas, so there will be a pop-up window where you can select either to apply an unblocker or to use Drachmas.

Yes, you are right. Each Coalition Member can use only 1 Guardian of each Type during the Coalition Arena Event. There are 15 Types of Guardians which means that each player can launch a total of 15 attacks against the Coalition Arena, unless you use a Guardian Type Unblocker.

Once you’ve cleared Floor 1 of the Arena, you’ll be able to use a Guardian Type Unblocker. You can only unblock each Guardian Type ONCE. This means that, if an Unblocker is used on each Guardian Type, you’ll be able to send a total of 30 Guardians of different Types to attack the Arena during one single Event.
