Acolyte Units on Persian Positions

We're participating in events that switch over our regular units with Acolyte Units.

May we know if and how these units count towards the Persian Position Bank calculation?

Hello. No, the losses of our units in  Sacred positions and the Team positions don't count toward Xerxes bank.

Hello Katia, thanks for the reply.

What about sending Acolyte units to standard Xerxes persian positions?

Lucifer, every player can use any unit in Persian positions, but the basic strategy from the xerxes specialists since this game started, is that in the Persian position, bank, we send  only what units we train with the basic resources, as only those units count toward to xerxes bank. As a Player, I use always this technique, and as you can see, I'm not so bad at xerxes. If we use acolyte units, we may have a payout, but it might mean that we just emptying our Xerxes Bank.   Let's say, I use my acolyte units, my veteran, and elite units plus the champions only for PVP. I don't give away my diamonds only to get some perles.

Robert, Mods are players too as you all are. I've played the game for almost 10 years, and I had mentors who were very good in Persian Positions. On FB Sparta, our top  Persians positions are on 410 level , and the Sparta  FB community page is full of better payouts than my 145k which is not a record.🙂 Why not check out the Plarium's FB community page yourself? Here is the link https://www.facebook.com/groups/465443953557137   I give you some screenshots to understand that there are a lot of Xerxes specialists who are better than me.

max 380

according to that, I would be lvl 500 now if I got your rewards

Robert, every player has his /her own way of playing Positions. I use a different technique to play positions, so I don't need any guardian, because the payouts, don't come by killing the xerxes units, but when the xerxes bank is full. I'm not even at the 140  city level yet.😃I don't play Persian Positions every day, because the technique I use needs time, llet's say 15 days, or else I will lose units in vain. I repeat, Moderators are players and not Plarium's employees, so don't have even all of  my guardians at 8, but only what is important to me.

Hello Archon.  I'm playing Sparta for almost 10 years. I was taught by the experts in Persian Positions, who were players as well. The point is that every player is unique. I can get good payouts because I  have an army that I can afford to lose, to get a better payout, but it doesn't mean that every player can follow my techniques, as they are a lot, and I change them accordingly. What you need is a ingame mentor that he or she will teach you in real-time, and not just general info.🙂

Hi Katia, that was wonderful advice. Still, im really interested in what technique works best for you. and im sure im not the only one. Best way for us to find new techniques is by intergrating new ideas of which you could enlighten us with by elaborating your pp methods.

Thanks in advance

I don't know what every player knows and what he or she doesn't know. I'm using always the one bar technique, meaning if I need to get a defensive payout I will break as many offensive positions as I can do, without using any guardian, by sending to those positions only the offensive units I  selected to sacrifice but not breaking the position, just leave it in one bar and if I think that it is the time to collect a payout, I'm starting to hit the defensive positions but this time with my defensive guardian, for minimal losses. I do the opposite if I want an offensive payout. When I see that the xerxes doesn't want to pay, I will stop playing Positions  for 1 week . I play positions every 15 days, or every 20 days, if I can avoid it. , if it gave me 150k MP, to  be able to get a better payout, I have to burn resources of what those 150k MP have. Xerxes is a bank, and it gives us a loan  in resources ( units that we can build with timber, bronze, and grain) it is why we have to send to xerxes only those units, as it is what it counts to the xerxes bank. As with any bank, to get a bigger loan we have to give back what loan it gave us plus a 10-15% interest. That is  why when we play positions we have to have our storages, full of those resources, as for every resource it gives us, we get fewer units. The game is based on grain, so it is better when we play  Positions to have a -50% grain consumption boost on.  I always choose my army and what I can afford to sacrifice before I start playing positions. For me it is 80 million off and 80 million def, that's why I can get good payouts. Of course, every player can follow the basics with a much smaller army, but this also means a much smaller payout. All of the screenshots of the great payouts I posted above are coiners, and one of them broke my record. There isn't a magic trick, just knowing the basics and a lot of observations of the battle reports. Xerxes is tricky.  If you don't choose what you can afford to lose, and send your units to the positions, blindly, you might be left, without an army, that's why the first thing to do is to choose what you afford to lose, take them out of acro, bubble up, and play. The last thing is, that the payouts don't come because we kill the Persian units, but if our xerxes bank is full of our deposits ( In units), that's why most of the xerxes players don't have an 8-level position guardian, as they are not necessary for the positions, but for the final run for the payout, in the hope that we will empty our xerxes bank. Of course, there are a lot more techniques that I won't expose in public, that is why I told you to find an ingame mentor. I bet there are a lot of very experienced players on the Main server, that have the time to teach the players. I wish you all a good luck
