Yep , it is nice ,when you get some little rewards, if you use "plarium play" , but i use 98% linux / ubuntu 18.04 as operation system and don't want change it.

Some people use not "windows" systems and also other use MAC. I decline absolutly Windows 10 for my use , i not interested that some platforms like facebook , twitter , or other to control me to check what i do. i don't have account's there and i don't need them.

lately on 2020 ends the support and updates for windows 7 and its time to find another OS that i can use and work with them.

so i have to work with the webbrowser to play the game and gives no other way.

Hello, Archon!

At the moment the desktop app is available only for Windows and is being developed for Mac OS. Unfortunately, we do not have any information about the app for Linux.

Since the situation has not been classified as a bug, I have moved your topic to Game Discussion thread.

I am an Arch Linux user, and will never install macOS or Winblows. Many users taking Linux instead of Mac/Win, maybe you need to consider to jump into the Linux desktop market, you will be surprised how many people use Linux as a desktop and also many users with dual boot use Linux beside Winblows. See you until you do something about it!!!

Has anybody been able to get the launcher to work in wine? I'm not even sure if I have the right libraries, I can't find any info on whether specific dotnet is required and stuff.

Edit: I managed to get Plarium to install at least with dotnet461, but I get a crash when trying to open Plarium. Some of the errors seem to hint at MSVCR100 which looks like MS Visual C Runtime 2010 / vcrun2010 but that doesn't seem to change anything for me

Is there any error message? If so, please send us a screenshot of it.

Also, I suggest that you install .Net Framework 4.8 and update all drivers and system updates.

wine is a kind of emulator for linux ....

It's a compatibility layer capable of running windows applications on linux

Nancy has very kindly already posted a potential work around

as i'm starting to move away from windows i'm using manjaro kde 21.1.5

i'm trying out Lutris as it seems to have a good emulator list but i'm using their wine version lutris-fshack-6.14-4-x86-64 though i still get an unrecoverable error please reinstall plarium play 97bb8877-957b-47fe-b25f-230ed2075234 so more testing needed

i have come across an Andriod emulater called Anbox but haven't tried it yet,so don't know if any of your google play store versions would work.

Probably won't make a difference, but the Linux hate is getting old. The internet runs on Linux, the clouds run on Linux, 120 million steam users use Linux, software dev and AI/ML is all on linux, hell your developers most certainly use linux. There may be more people with windows or Mac on their home desktop, but Linux users are more likely to have that thing you want... what was it? Oh yeah, money.

Thanks for your suggestion, Archon. Unfortunately, our team does not intend to maintain our Plarium Play app on Linux Mint 12.1 in the nearest future. However, if there are changes, we will let it be known 🤗
