I remember once when I used to be in a no rules coalition. I just have to say, those coalitions are pretty fun; you get your freedom to do whatever you want. ATHENA is the best coalition I can ever imagine that will be great at the whole no diplomacy stuff. They have put their name out their already and have put themselves to a great position where they are able to do this (I recall a couple of months ago that ATHENA reached 1 billion defense, probably a lot more now). 

However, I'm more used to the knowledge that I would have 2 or 3 more coalitions by my side when I am in trouble, or knowing that other big coalitions can worry about expansion and member trade deals (soon I hope) instead of always having to watch my back for another guy to come and stab me. Of course, the best thing is knowing he won't stab me in the BACK since there is no treaty between friends. Therefore, in my opinion, I would be better situated in a diplomacy coalition rather than no rules. 

However, this is a great starting coalition for non-diplomacy and I hope you grow
