Operative Missions: Tips & Tricks
Commanders,
We wanted to share some tips and tricks on how to get the most out of your Operative Missions:
Tip 1
While it's best to start every Operative Mission you receive, sometimes it's wiser not to claim the Rewards as soon as you can. Completed Operative Missions don't expire on refresh, nor do they count against the number of Missions you get the next day.
You can hold on to Missions like this until you have enough of them to complete their respective Syndicate Mission Category by turning them in. This is an especially good idea for 6th and 7th Echelon Missions as they are extremely rare and it can be very difficult to get enough for each Rotation.
If you ever see rare Missions (6th or 7th Echelon) and you can't send your Special Operatives on the Mission immediately, we suggest locking them so that you don't lose them.
Tip 2
After a new Syndicate Mission Rotation starts, compare the number of ready-to-complete Operative Missions you have to the requirements of the relevant Syndicate Mission Category.
Gauge whether you want to try to complete the Category in this Rotation, whether you'll need to get more Dispatches to do it, or if you're just going to keep your ready-to-complete Missions for the next Rotation.
Tip 3
Use Dispatches and manual Mission replacement only when you're looking for a Mission of a specific Echelon to complete the Operative Missions Category of the Syndicate Missions.
Example:
Your last remaining Syndicate Mission is "Complete 5 6th Echelon Operative Missions" and you've only completed three of this Echelon. Let's say there are only a few days left until a new Syndicate Mission Rotation. The chance of getting these Operative Missions is only 1%, so you have two options:
Option 1: You can try to complete the Operative Missions Category. In this case, the best option would be replacing Missions and using Dispatches to get two 6th Echelon Operative Missions. Only claim the Rewards for your other held 6th Echelon Missions when you have all 5 ready to go.
Option 2: You pass on completing the Syndicate Mission Category this Rotation. The three 6th Echelon Operative Missions you've completed will continue to sit if you don't claim Rewards. If you get another 6th Echelon Operative Mission soon, send your Operatives to add it to your collection. Then, complete them all once you have all 5 Missions next Rotation.
