Flashpoint Task Force. Dev Notes
Flashpoint Task Forces are coming to Zandia. From now on, you can upgrade your Special Operatives’ Levels even faster with this new feature.
Activating a Flashpoint Task Force allows you to send Special Operatives on Deployments. Special Operatives sent on Deployments will automatically engage Flashpoints to earn XP, Hiring Bonds, and Energy.
Feature access
All players who have unlocked Special Operatives and completed all the tutorial Special Operative Operations can access Flashpoint Task Forces. To activate a Flashpoint Task Force, you must apply a Task Force Activator (7 or 30 days). You can get these from certain Special Offers. You'll also get a Task Force Activator (7 days) as a Reward once you complete the first Flashpoint Task Force Operation.
Apply the Task Force Activator in the Flashpoints tab of the Special Operatives Window to activate a Flashpoint Task Force. Then, select Special Operatives you want to send on Deployments. While the Deployment is in progress, you can view the stats from the Flashpoints tab. You can also start or recall as many Deployments as you like while the Flashpoint Task Force is active.
While a Flashpoint Task Force is active, it can be extended by using additional Task Force Activators. Flashpoint Task Forces cannot be extended beyond 3 months.
Solo and Group Deployments
There are two types of Deployments – Solo Deployments and Group Deployments.
Solo Deployments allow you to send a lone Special Operative to automatically engage Flashpoints. You can send Special Operatives that are the maximum Level for their Rank on Solo Deployments to earn Hiring Bonds and Energy, but they will not earn any XP.
Solo Deployments finish when one of the following parameters is met:
- You run out of Energy
- You run out of Energy Pills and either Blue Diamonds or Diamonds (depending on your version of the game) after choosing to Energize automatically
- You reach the Engagement Limit
- You recall the Deployment manually
Group Deployments can include up to 10 Special Operatives that are not at the maximum Level for their Rank. These Special Operatives will engage Flashpoints one by one until the Deployment is finished. If a Special Operative reaches the maximum Level for their Rank during the Deployment, it will no longer engage. The rest of the deployed Special Operatives will keep defusing Flashpoints.
Group Deployments finish when one of the following parameters is met:
- You run out of Energy
- You run out of Energy Pills and either Blue Diamonds or Diamonds (depending on your version of the game) after choosing to Energize automatically
- All Special Operatives reach the maximum Level for their current Rank
- You reach the Engagement Limit
- You recall the Deployment manually
Flashpoint Task Force Settings
After selecting the type of Deployment and the Special Operative(s) you wish to use, you can decide whether to Energize automatically. If you select this option, your Energy Pills will automatically be used once your Energy reaches zero. Once you run out of Energy Pills, you will expend Blue Diamonds or Diamonds instead, depending on which version of the game you have.
You will also be able to set an Engagement Limit. The default limit is 100 engagements. Each Flashpoint defused counts as one engagement, so a limit of 100 engagements means that your Special Operative will defuse 100 Flashpoints before the Deployment is automatically recalled.
After you start a Deployment, you can view Deployment statistics. These include:
- Total Deployment Time
- Flashpoints Engaged
- Energy Used
- Energy Restored
- Operative XP Earned
- Hiring Bonds Earned
After you have started a Deployment, it is not possible to add or remove Special Operatives, or change any of the Deployment settings. Deployed Special Operatives will not be available for any other game actions until the Deployment is finished. You can recall a Deployment at any time, though any Special Operative currently not in your Base will complete their engagement (if travelling to a Flashpoint) and return as normal.
