I actually had something written down and then deleted the dialog because I saw that it been addressed elsewhere.

However, due to the the issue, in my opinion, has not been addressed adequately, I will give it another go.

You need to either 1) greatly increase the number of repositories and depots or 2) adjust the range of levels that can compete against one another.

There is no way that I , now a level 91, can compete with those players at level 110, 120, 130, 140, etc. etc.

Trying to capture 2 repositories for a daily task or collecting items in the repositories and depots have become a joke.  Not worth the effort any longer.
