There has been a lot of chat regarding VIP status, is this real and how do I qualify, I am CEO on HL and DL and play BL at brigadier lvl. I run a free raiding policy in my groups and need to be able to support my members with strength of troops when they call on me for help.
Difficult to maintain troop levels when I offer support to others, any help would be great.

First off, it's a lottery.
Here's a list of what is known to contribute to your chances of being picked (nothing is guaranteed at any point).
Pretty sure there's a third point, but I cannot recall right now (2 might be a combination of those I saw on Plarium's list).
Benefits of being a VIP
There is more, but again I cannot recall the rest atm.
1, 2, and 6 are not constant, but do appear from time to time for VIPs only.
3 and 4 are not constant either. Only some tourneys and MC drops will be notified to each player. Overall, advanced MC drop will be given to the player-base every time, but not necessarily to every member of the VIP group.
You can use 5 to gain some additional insights into the game mechanics, although they don't seem to give much beyond hints. For stuff beyond their hints, you can ask in the forums. If I know (and it's not a game breaking mechanic) I will help out.

As the program is a new endeavor of Plarium, thus far very few players have been chosen to become the first participants in the program.
It’s still being developed, but unfortunately, I don’t have any exact timeframes for the program’s expansion.
When it came to selecting the participants of the program, multiple factors were taken into consideration, such as the amount of time spent playing the game,
how long ago players joined, and their levels of activity in the game. The amount of funds invested into the game is secondary to all those factors.
We hope that the VIP Program will be seen as a nice game addition for an experienced player.

One of my close friends in side of soliders Inc mobile warfare is VIP. And I have been in game very long time and was not selected nor have gotten any anniversary gifts ????As far as I know, we're planning to expand the VIP program, so you will have a chance to be selected, sir.
