Alliance warfare
Hello!
This is Ohnooes from Legion Core! I wanted to thank the server for all of the amazing wars of 2017. Below are some tips and observations from what I have seen
The biggest wars have been coalition wars, meaning groups of alliances working together to fight other groups of alliances.
- Rank is a death trap during war: If you focus on Rank to heavily during a war your players will lose a lot of troops defending alliance assets. For some players these loses can crush moral.
- Have a plan: This is a war game and having a strategy and being patient goes a long way.
- Don't be nationalist: This is an international game with amazing players all over the world. Find a translator app that works good on your device. For example many western players refuse to work with Russian players. This is sad because there are a lot of amazing and talented players across the world.
- Create Roles in your alliance: You cannot do everything on your own. Consider creating roles (across ranks) to delegate responsibility. Having a talented and trusted diplomat can be worth more than 500mil of troops. However if your diplomat cannot be trusted you can have a coup or huge intel leaks.
- Black sites can be downgraded 1 time an hour
- HQ's can be downgraded every 24 hours (set a timer)
- Spies are everywhere. Everyone shares screenshots. Some people are the worst and selectively edit screenshots to take them out of context and put them in a narrative that fits them. There has been entire coalitions of alliances manipulated by two or three players who do double deals and manipulations. The sad thing is these players have had the alliance they were in destroyed at the start of the year and were forced to start over. People have short memories in this game so remember who your friends are and who works against you. Actions speak louder thank screenshots.
- If someone says they have 3 billion power, they dont....especially if they refuse to hit your base. Don't worry he knows who I'm talking to ^_-
If you found this write up useful or have any suggestions or anything you would like to see please let me know. I have a lot more I can share that may be a little more in depth.
