Greetings Raiders! As much as we’d like to keep enjoying the adventures of the Arbiter and her faithful warriors, all good things must come to an end. We hope you enjoyed the series as much as we did, and we want to thank you all for accompanying our Champions on their journey.  

As you might have guessed, our last July RaidDigest will be partially devoted to RAID: Call of the Arbiter, and partially - to other topics. Let’s dive in! 

RAID: Call of the Arbiter Code Chase will soon be gone. Time is ticking, goodies won’t claim themselves on their own

3 August 2023 is the day when the carriage will turn into a pumpkin, the horses into mice…and the Сode Chase will disappear from the game, which means that ALL CotA-related codes will automatically become not valid. If you have not used ALL 10 codes (1 Episode = 1 Code), now is the time.

Demon Lord: time improvement is coming

We’re focusing not only on adding new content to Raid but also looking at decreasing the time spent in the game. With the nearest release, we’re adding Quick Battle mode for Demon Lord. 

First of all, the improvement will be applicable to all 6 Difficulties and will be optional. 

In order to unlock the feature on a certain Difficulty, you’ll need to deal a certain amount of damage, required for the highest Chest of a specific Difficulty, in 1 Key.

Secondly, you’ll need no extra resources to use the feature. Use a standard CB Key to launch the battle as you normally do  -  that’s it. 

Even though we do not show the fighting process itself, but only the result, all battle rules relevant to CB battles and common restrictions remain the same - Team Setup, Affinity, and move limits. 

Bugs and Fixes for the New Champions

Under certain conditions, Valkanen's allies survive his tyrannical A3 [Death’s Bargain]. As a rule, it happens when an ally has a Blessing [Ward of the Fallen] on them. Starting from one of the next releases, Valkanen will always be killing his ally with A3,  no matter the Artifacts, Blessings, and Masteries they have.

Also, we’d like to let you know that Lady of Ireth’s Passive [Aegist of the Forest] will be improved.  We are going to tweak her Passive Skill to make sure no Tomes are wasted in vain. 

How it will be after the update: 

• Lv.2 + 20% Shield Value 
• Lv.3 Cooldown - 1 

We should clarify this fix a bit: Lady of Ireth’s Passive Skill triggers only once on her turn start, therefore, lowering the cooldown from 1 to 0 would not bring any changes to the skill itself.

The fix is around the corner - it will be added to the game with the nearest big release. 

Raid on the Epic Games Store [for new users]

About a week ago, Raid appeared in the Epic Games Store. We want to clarify one crucial detail of the launch: playing via Epic Games Store is available for new players only in the sense that if you already have an account in Raid, you won't be able to play using your EGS platform since there is no way to transfer your game progress - you’ll need to start the game from scratch. 

Clan vs. Clan Tournament (1 August)

The next launch of the CvC Tournament will feature no Personal Rewards.

And last but not least, we are very sorry for the stress caused by the nasty red dot on the Events icon. It is gone, and we’ll make sure it won’t come back again without an invitation. And even if it returns, we’ll be ready to meet it and conquer.
