I've already deleted and reinstalled, tried it on wifi and data. Still stuck on authenticating.

Same here and gives black screen with cursor keep circle poping...
Already 4 straight hours freaking black screen. Uninstalled and installed the client and the game several times already and it doesn't work still black and freaking freaked out cursor...
Ton of resources wasted, few hours to starting the events... and still this black screen. Seriously, if that is how the event starts for most people... won't be cool at all.
Most people do not use the forum and when they face this TOTAL crash and broken client due to the latest update (3rd one of 3 in day and a half) will probably freak out, especially if they know the events are coming and the resources are going down the drain - both active resources, regenerative resources and time resources in the inbox... yeah, TONS OF RESOURCES wasted right before the events... all f2p players will be f'd

What I found works is to disable your WiFi, so it switches off network, then load game using cell service, then game should load at which point you can turn WiFi back on and reload game as normal. It sure why it messes up like this but it does and it’s worked to fix it many times so far

I had this issue for the last few days and ended up removing the app then downloading the apk from last month and installing. It asks you to update as normal so make sure you do this and now it works.

This just happend to me. Tried all solutions named here and nada....

I've been having this issue on my phone for months. could only play on ipad or pc. now i have a brand new samsung tablet and it is getting stuck on "signing in" WTF?? Will this ever get fixed?

Been having this issue since last patch on my phone.
This fixed it, had to do the tutorial again but this solved it.!
