hydra sometimes fails to vomit a champion

I and some of my clanmates have noticed that it sometimes appears that enough damage has been done to recover a champion that has been swallowed by a hydra head, but the champion doesn't get returned. That is, all the green is gone, but I don't get my champion back.

Is this a bug, or what's going on?

Hi,

Can you or your clanmates take screenshots or video of this happening? I would assume it's most likely a visual bug, but if you can document it that would be great. Thanks.

Here's an example. There's no green visible left on the third head's health bar, but the digestion counter is still counting down. In this case, the next hit returned the champion, but I believe I've seen other cases where the champion went on to get digested despite having removed all the green from the health bar before the counter reached 0. So I suppose the problem is that the amount of green in the health bar is computed to be less than one pixel and it rounds to 0 or something but there's still some amount of damage that you still have to do.

Definitely inclined to think this is a visual bug of sorts.

Out of curiosity: have you or your clanmates see this happen in conjunction with that head also having a life barrier on it?

Hmm, I'm not sure about that one. I haven't exactly understood how the life barrier works. Is the damage supposed to disappear from the grey portion of the bar or the green portion? It does feel like the green portion can change size while the grey portion is stil there, but it's not like all the damage is going into reducing the green portion either, so I don't really know what's going on.
