I had more than 50 Ancient Shards, used to get a Legendary Fighter, but as you can see: the counter is on zero!
Same thing with Void Shards. It is frustrating, really.
Please look at this an do the correction.

Unfortunately no, that's not how it works. If you check the articles that pop up in the News page in game when Progressive Events show up or click the 'i' to the right of the image you cropped & posted in thread, you'll find the information that says you have to pull a rarity (epic or legendary) to increase the chances of pulling that rarity.

The info pops up in the news so it happens upon login at least one time. Then - like normal across the game - information is available in the summoning portal via the 'i' button.
