Anyone else experience this?

I just got the game less then a week ago, when I started one event was over and summoner event was starting, I played the summoner event and while it was going on the 1.8 patch came out when it did it turned the summoner event into the dungeon divers event for me.

I kept the points and place I was in and the timer was still running just the event changed for me.

When I said something in game chat they had no clue as to what I was talking about, said something in discord no response.

Am I the only person this happened to? If so pretty big bug.

Usually wouldn't care to much but I bought two packs full of shards one level and one similar to it to help me with the event as I am new and needed help with the points, bought them back to back exited restarted game opened checked event and seen it switched so didn't get those points obviously and buying them was for the event or would have gotten other packs that were there like the double xp one.
