Description:

For a really long time I haven't bothered with any artifact challenges as I was stuck on one which was "get a hero to 50000 hp". Last night I was eyeing the void shard which was the reward for finishing that level of challenges so I decided to finish it off.

I loaded up some stuff on a toon and hit 50000 pretty easily. I collected my 100 energy reward for that specific challenge and then my void shard from the top of the screen for having completed them all.

I specifically seem to remember this challenge as being level 3 of 10, meaning there were going to be 6 more screens full of these after this.

So I went and burned my shard and got an unimpressive blue. Frustrated, I went back into the challenges to see what was next and this is when it showed me as being finished all 10 levels. I swear there was a sacred shard at the top of the screen but it was greyed out, as if I couldn't claim it. It said 10 of 10 completed.

I left the screen and returned to it and there was no greyed out sacred shard there anymore.

Someone on Reddit pointed me to a YouTube video showing someone on level 10 of the challenges and this 50000 HP one is indeed there. But there reward is two epic tomes, not the void shard I got.

Something is not right here, I just don't know what. I was positive that it said I was on 3 of 10. I'm also relatively sure I haven't completed these challenges I see others posting on Reddit. I remember doing some early on, but not the madness they're going through.
