Yes. This one.
Lots of people got 3. I didnt get one. I''m sure the devs wont miss me cus I was a f2p anyway.
My problem with this is, most of us are expecting Plarium to not deal with this. This is a major advantage those specific people got.
60 void shards is huge, not to mention all the blue shards they probably bought.
Then there's the real problem for me in the huge energy. This allows them to farm way more than we can.
I believe the honorable thing to do is to offer the rest of us for free. I understand that is not something Plarium would want to do, but this mess up has the potential to seriously unbalance the game. If people choose to pay that's on them, but allowing only a select group to have a huge advantage is not proper.
I hope Plarium does the right thing here, and I understand it sucks. But this is probably the easiest thing for Plarium to rectify the problem. And also being fair to the very people that are testing your game, and pumping money into it.
This is unfair for everyone.
I get it the free version, but when I clicked, I gave me a message saying, "expired"
While everyone else that click get 3packs for free.
Or it would be for everyone, or for none.
I don't know how they plan to fix this, or even if they care enough to fix it.
But they should make it available for everyone.Agreed need an official response, sooner rather then later. Even if it's along the lines of 'we're still investigating'.
However I disagree with the compensation part. To do that across the entire player base would destroy the in-game economy and create an insurmountable gap for all who sign up later.
Assuming it wasn't a deliberate play on the dev's part:Will a clawback be going out to players who took advantage of the pack error? If yes, then that's probably the only thing you need to do. And maybe sending out a message to inform the community about the action taken.
No, it needs to be the same for everyone, across the whole field. Some of us spent some cash on these packs, while others get them for free? That is completely unfair. Either they give out the packs to everyone (and I mean everyone), or refund the purchases made. Giving out a small package to those that didn't get that issue won't work.
This needs to be handled right, because there are a lot of toes that can be stepped on. I am a paying customer, and people are getting items for free that I had to pay for. Saying sorry and here is a pat on the back just won't fix the issue. This isn't just a game, this is also a BUSINESS.
This is a PRODUCT some of us payed for when others didn't have to to get the same thing. Are we to be held to a different standard then everyone else?
When money gets involved, a "sorry" and a pat on the back just won't cut it.Official ticket response:

Hello!
We are sorry that the free packs were released unexpectedly. Still, the packs were available in the game for several minutes. Only a small percentage of the players have managed to get them.
We will not withdraw the content of the packs from the accounts that have received the packs. Also, we do not plan to enable these free packs again.
Based on this experience, we will do our best to avoid such situations when the game gets officially released worldwide.
Once again, please accept our apologies for the inconvenience this situation might have caused.

What a joke, complete disregard for their player base and no compensation for an infraction of consumer law. This cannot be blamed on early access or whatever, it's still a business transaction that has unfairly benefited others in the same consumer product.
I deleted this game. And I will try to get my money back to this project by all means. I urge you to do the same. I have never seen such an attitude towards players in any game. In fact, quite a lot of players got free packages, which gave them a huge advantage, they didn’t catch up with the majority of players. Meaning to play this game is missing.
In order not to step on such a rake anymore, you need to play games from proven, reputable companies.
It's the last straw for me. This is a great game imo, with alot of depth and potential. I've worked on alot of betas and I've never seen devs so toxic. That so obviously do not care about their playerbase or their experience. I understand they made a mistake, but not doing anything to address it, or even apologizing makes it that much worse. The sad part is we all knew this is exactly what they'd do. Every Nerf they've done, every lie and shadow change, it has all been the same. Lightsworn and CH nerfs that people spent money and tomes to work on. Oh, it was a scaling bug and they were overpowered, too bad for you. Oh, we fucked up the update we promised and can't release for 3 days? Apples fault. Lieing about shadow nerfs to septimus and nethril. Changing the acc/res calculations because we were clearing nm too fast. Literal stops of communicatio when SS of your supports lies were reported. The list goes on and on. I could live with these mistakes if plarium would ever own up to their mistakes. Say they messed up, actually apologize. Show even a small sense of responsibility for their actions. Shit happens, people make mistakes, but they usually try and rectify their mistakes. Most games straight apologize and offer a small consolation prize. Even for a small mistake. These guys haven't given a real apology for a single mistake and they've made some big ones. That will never change. For that reason I am quitting the game, getting any refunds I can, and I will never play a plarium game again in my life. Boycotted and I will push others to do so also
