When I got Kael 2 years ago I set his masteries up according to Ayumi. Yesterday I reset them according to HH. Run times were 25-30 pulling food. Those times are now down to 15-20 seconds and a few in the 10 second range. It was worth the 150 gems I paid for the reset.

I got bored and tried suros. It didn't work at well as the sheild guard green guy. I put him in reflex and can get 8 second runs now. This is on iOS so impossible tonget faster. I saw people on YouTube getting 6 seconds. I don't get to the last wave in that time frame though......

On Brutal 12-3, the fastest and easiest to get is Fellhound, 5 sec farmer.
On Nightmare, I do believe it is Ithos, 11 seconds.

What stats do you have on Fellhound? Gear?
I use Skullcrown, and i'm pretty sure if i had better crit damage and attack stats (she's not OP geared, far from it) i'd go 1-2-3 in there. With lower damage, i need a second attack on wave 2 to finish them. With relentless, i do get a quick 11 seconds if it procs on wave 2. If not, 18 seconds.

I used Big'Un before Ithos, based on video from Ash. Needed 19 seconds on Brutal. Ithos is faster, though one needs to consider the lenght of animations.

You don't need his stats to be that high. All it takes is for his ATK+DEF > 6000 (he scales damage from both by about the same amount), and I believe 230% Crit Damage. Speed 110 is enough.

Nope. But if you don't already have a fast campaign farmer, and you don't already have someone else who can do the job easily, then it's probably worth getting.

One of the end goals in this game, as I see it, is specialization. Early and mid-game, due to limited roster, it is necessary to have jacks-of-all-trades that you try to make use in as many areas as possible. You don't really have other choice. As you approach the later stage of the game, due to the difficulty of content and opponents, you'll need champions that are geared, tuned and masteried accordingly, which will not always be ideal for other content - which spontaneously leads to specialization.
For instance, I have Ithos. Fellhound is my Brutal farmer, and Ithos NM farmer. I don't use Ithos for almost anything else. NM farming, soloing DT normal and speed-running Mino. It's actually just one role - "fast clearing low-powered opponents". That's it. Useless in the Arena, because he's rocking Flawless Execution and not Helmsmasher.
I use Bellower, 7 sec. I hear Eva is the best but don't see the point of building her to clip a few seconds.
the fellhound dog is fast only when the food are dogs also. the running animation is faster.
But if you have humanoids as food, its the same 7sec as belower, kymar, ithos, saurus or anyone A1 AOE in the game....
or 6 seconds.... as EVERYONE ELSE.
dog is not faster, unless food is dogs....
I only use dogs as food with my Bellower......
It doesn't speed it up or anything since Bellower is 7-8 seconds, I just do it for the hijinks.
Don't think I've heard Fellhound only being faster with dogs. Gonna go out on a limb and say Azura is barking up the wrong tree.
