This one was a real bear for me, I did not have any of the champs that were recommended in the associated Dreadhorn Guide, although in general had no trouble with L10 Dreadhorn. Been stuck for a few weeks at L50, yuck. So I had 2 questions for myself, what champs of mine would work (make progress against the boss) and what to use as aura champ?

For the first question I just set about methodically grouping my champs into 5's and tracked the battle results, first tossing out the ones that would not even make it to the boss.  I noted if any of the champs in each battle had higher scores. I went through all the champs and came up with a "top five" to make a team, just strictly results based (not conscious synergy). I was able to get about 2/3 through beating the boss.

Since that team had a few choices for aura, I tried out all the auras I had on that team.  I found that Teela with RESIST aura worked the best, and she was getting me down to like winning 80% or so.  I felt I was on to something and just kept trying that team over and over, realizing the variations in the game. Finally I had a run that resulted in VICTORY!

Final Team was Teela (Lead), Stag Knight, Athel, Runekeeper, Giscard. So now I am up to FL 59 waiting for next set of keys.
