I very much doubt it. The entire reason they added the system was to entice people to spend more money fishing for those specific lego champs. Epics and rares wouldn't really drive much buying.

Well, then they're leaving money on the table because I stopped buying shards because I ran out of space lol. I'm not paying 10mil in silver for 10 more slots in the vault. I have dupe epics well beyond faction guardians and I don't know where I'd put a 100 new rares/epics I get searching for that one legendary they want me to fish for.

Once you've filled up your faction guardians why keep dupe epics? :)

Not gonna lie, some of it is emotional. There are people begging the RNG Gods for a Coldheart or a Seer, so using 3 extra Madame Serris', 10 extra Coldhearts, and 5 extra Seers as chickens so I can make more room for fodder I'll get while fishing for more Legendaries doesn't sit right with me. 

And part of it is I'm hoping for an empower option for rares/epics or a share/donate option. I'd love to donate my champions to players who need it. I have f2p clanmates who could use them, maybe there are players in Ukraine who, for obvious reasons, may struggle paying for their champs. I am more than willing to share those extra Seers, Coldhearts and Madames rather than using them as chickens. 

I don't keep rates except one of each: 

cold-heart, fellhound, doomscreech, frozen banshee. 

And I only keep them because of that '"only rares and only void rares" rooms in doomtower. 

And coldheart for fast spider and golem .... 

All of the rest go to the chicken pot!!!

A kind thought, surely. But there's definitely not a share feature or donate option anywhere in the future, so you'll be holding onto those extra champs until you are done playing. :)

And I doubt there is any empower option for anything less than leggos anywhere on the docket.. Faction Guardians is as far as I expect anyone to go there.

And I'll gladly hold on to those champs as a protest :) 

Are you using any of your dups as books to upgrade your leading champs?

They are booked out already.

I use them as tomes if im working a champion until all his skills r worked up that double is nothing more than a tome especially when it comes to rares you can build up decent uncommon the same way no tomes use the double n make one dudes skills complete then make your double
