I'm a fairly new player so I'm running Normal CB right now. I haven't been optimally running with the key resets (I guess you can do 4 runs a day?) and I want to get the most of my keys. I can easily get the x2 Knight Chest on normal after two runs. Can I get 4 chests from the same difficulty? Or does the chest count cap somewhere?
it's a maximum of two chests per difficulty. one based on your personal efforts and a second if your clan manages to kill the clan boss. since it sounds like your clan is already able to kill it without you adding more keys, you should put your extras into another difficulty.
Your keys reset every six hours, so you get up to four free keys per day.
Per Clan Boss difficulty you are capped at 2 chests. You get one chest from reaching a specific damage range with your key(s), and that doubles if your clan downs/defeats that specific difficulty Clan Boss during the day.

You can only get a maximum of 2 cheats per difficulty. For each difficulty, the type (value) of the chest you recieve is based on the total damage you do on that difficulty (all the keys you use on that difficulty totaled). If the clan downs the champ on that difficulty, you will get two chests, otherwise one, for that difficulty.
If you are getting top chest on a difficulty, and the clan is downing that difficulty, there is seldom reason to spend another key on that difficulty.
