Your basic blueprint for each Spider stage up to 20 will be:

• Someone who can absorb spiderling attacks - Miscreated Monster (red), Sepulcher Sentinel (green), Magnarr (blue). The idea here is to use a weak-affinity champ so the spiderlings attack them. Make sure you have enough resist - 13-15 needs 200 RES, 16-18 needs 250 RES, and 19-20 need 300 RES. After that, try to get about 3200 DEF, and then as much HP as possible. Speed/ATK/ACC/CR/CD are all completely irrelevant - for this specifically.
• Someone who can CC the spiderlings - Gliseah is good vs blue and red, especially if you're able to book her A3, and she'll retain value in arena later (as a counter to Warlord). Achak works well too, again vs blue and red. Against green, Miscreated Monster would be great, except you're using him as a tank, so you won't be fast enough. If you're willing to do some gear swapping though, he'd work very well. For the CC champ, the only two stats you care about are ACC and SPD. You want 90-120 ACC for 13-15, 140-160 ACC for 14-16, and 190-220 ACC for 19-20. Other than that, just make them as fast as possible.
• Someone who can keep the tank alive - You're in luck - you can use Riho for all stages for this role. She's amazing. Just use her with whatever gear she has. The faster the better.
• Two people to prevent the Queen from getting a turn - again you're in luck. Coldheart and Psylar can be used for all stages to CC the Queen. These two primarily only need Speed and ACC, similar to the CC person. However, for Coldheart specifically, you'll want as much CDMG as possible, and 70% CR, since she'll be doing the actual damage on the boss.

Kantra is a great tank for spider 20.  No aoe hp burn on roster that I see? Monster should work well thru 20. Never used psylar in spider, but guessing kram is correct that will be good and getting coldheart to 6star.  Spider would be good for speed lead and dec def weaken.

Haven't put resources into Kantra as of yet. Only AOE HP burn as far as I've seen is Achak. Coldheart is definitely on top of my todo list. Psylar should work well once she's ascended. 

Only reason I mentioned Sepulcher over Kantra is because Kantra wasn't 60 yet :)

How many drexthar fragments do you have?

But we both should have mentioned drexthar first :) free lego, doesn't need books. And can be viable at 50 for spider 20. 

I'm not even close to drexthar yet. Is there a reason why the spiderlings would start attacking CH instead of Sepulcher? (BTW with your input I've progressed from stage 13 to 16)

The enemy AI typically goes after whoever looks the most squishy. CH is usually the lowest HP, so the ads love to attack her. Try reducing Sepulcher's HP while upping her DEF. They see your champs HP, but are blind to their DEF, RES and all the other stats, so you can use that to your advantage.
