Lego books - I would say Draco and Duchess, and, possibly, Kreela - though I'd hold off on booking her for now. Draco needs the books for CB, and Duchess needs them for Arena. If Kreela is on your CB team you'll want to book her for sure. If she's only on your Dungeon / Arena teams, you can leave her unbooked.

Epic - Psylar, Fayne, and Stag Knight all retain value well into late-game, so they're worth booking for sure. Gorg, Khatun, and Deacon are all also good choices. Basically - book the ones you use regularly.

Rare - Coldheart and Frozen Banshee are the only two I'd book for now, and FB I'd only book if she's on your CB team.

Draco is on DL.  Duchess is on arena off and defense.  I have not been using Kreela.  I can move her to DL if she will fit there.  If she works there I can book her.  

Stag Knight is on DL.  Deacon is new and I have not figured out how I want to use him.  The same for Psylar.  Gorg and Khatun are being used in Tag.  Dragon 20 team is set but slow.  I am juggling FK, Spider and Golem.  Mino15 is solid.  

FB is used in Tag and Factions.  Coldheart is geared poorly and of little use to me now.

I'm going to have to strongly disagree on booking Kymar. I find there is very little point in booking any of his abilities. If you're using him in arena, it doesn't matter how long the cooldown on his A2 or A3 are, the fight will be over long before they're back up. And in the few places where he does have a use in dungeons, the same basically applies.

Legos: Draco, Duchess

Epics: Agree with Kram's sentiment of focusing on the ones you use or think you'll use the most. There's so many you really can't go wrong with, overall. I will add Sepulcher for Clan Boss purposes though you could use Duchess in the block debuffs/damage mitigation role. Though Sepulcher brings attack down and defense up along with her passive. 

Deacon, Stag, Psylar (among others) are all good options.

Rares: CH/FB. Long term you will be using CH a lot, and eventually multiple, most likely. 

For Legos/Epics I would try to think about who you see yourself using the most, in overall content. Clan Boss team is the exception, though. Books are almost always mandatory there. 

I lack speed gear.  Most of my battles are long.  In long battles would Kymar have more value?

I dont know who I plan to use.  I still have a hard time understanding the synergy to build a team.  Or the synergy is there and the gear is lacking.  I am not sure which.

You're going to want context when rating most champs, but Kymar is special. 

It's not that Kymar is overrated. It's that he doesn't need booking to be useful.

If your battles are long, the solution isn't to book Kymar, it's to gear up the other champs better. Lego books are a very rare commodity. Don't start throwing them around randomly.

And for here - again, the solution is not to just book people and hope for the best. Construct a viable team. Test it for proof of concept without booking. If it looks like it works, test it some more. And then some more.

Then, if you're *sure* it's the right approach, you can start to book.

Booking will never take a bad team and make it work. What it will do is make a good team more reliable.

Lol. U said u save resources for cvc... booking is one of a few things you should "only" do during cvc. Huge points for legos. Save other resources for fusions. You continue to sub optimize lolz
