I have gone from S3 to G2 this week.  Will the game allow me to ascend that fast when it resets?

As long as you stay in gold at reset, you'll be fine in the current arena meta.  If they change things up again, you'll probably end up back in silver soon enough, but as it stands if you're using all of your tokens everyday there's no way not to climb.

I made it to G5 today.  Do I really need 4,950 pts to get to PT?

Waiting till i get more champs for arena rdy then pushing from silver 4 to gold (got tons of arena bags with timers running out shortly so might be during this event)

Refreshing does help a ton imo , just take a break in between free refresh !

Since I am retired, I set a timer and check every refresh for 8 hours a day.  I only take battles I am sure I can win.  Even in Silver, if you avoid losing battles, you will advance.  I spent too much time trying to beat teams that were just a little too strong for me.  

BTW, i am banned off the chat messenger.
