Just to expand a bit on the previous two comments - technically, the math is the same for the extra legendary vs the 2x weekend. You have half the chance to get twice the rewards.

The key difference between this and a normal 2x weekend, though, is that there is no fusion event ongoing, and so you're not getting the extra bang for your buck. And that goes a long way towards making your resources translate into tangible results.

On a new account, I would wait for the 2x every time.  For a bit older account I would follow the advice here and wait for a 2x with fusion event going on.  Going for it this time around only makes sense if you are confident you will have enough resources (shards) by the time the next fusion comes around to complete.

I also keep track of my pulls so I know when I'm 'garanteed' a leggo due to pity.  So if I happen to be garanteed a leggo with the shards available, of course I'm going to open them to get 2 for 1 garanteed.

TBH/ I've had increadible luck pulling on the 'extra' events.

If you are very lucky person. Yes.  But forget luck if you talking about Plarium RNG. So, NO!!!

Well, the problem there is you never know (if you are lucky or unlucky) until after you roll the dice. I opened 5 and got Nethril and Drex as the extra.  The odds were not great, but I got twice the rewards for taking the chance and I'm 99% confident I'll be able to complete the next fusion when it comes up.  At least my time will be the only factor, not shards.

i had 3 sacreds all collected from cb that night of the event starting - 2 from un cb and 1 from nm cb

Mortu is great for 3v3, and is solid for FW as well. Even useful on Hydra for block buffs. Nice pulls.

So i always watching the local channel, in the first day of event i seen 2 persons who got double lego, and no one got lego after this. You are lucky i didnt want to pulling before 2x event (if i remember good, thats will be in a week or so). My experience is bad from 10x or double lego events. No once happened for me, when i didnt pull lego at 2x event from over 200 ancient shards, or didnt get a single epic at 2x void events, when i pulled over 25 shards and just pulled rare heroes (three times).
