Unfortunately there is really no way for them to easily distinguish between a bug/glitch causing the game to crash, and an intentional force close / cut internet connection / etc.
That's why they changed it so that CB key wouldn't get used up if you close the game. It was just too punishing to rob someone of a key because their internet cut out.

In tag this can be critical to advancing. In classic I lose to a solo defense at least once a day and don't care.

I am making a big effort to get into G1 this reset, and luckily it rarely crashes on tag, missing G1 due to a crash would be infuriating
