Sadly, you're almost certainly out of luck. I think they underestimated just how powerful Ninja would be.

They're definitely quite different. Ninja is one of the best PVE champions in the entire game, who can scale for pretty much any level account, whereas for most I think Alex is best suited for earlier game accounts.

That said, both champions were free and fair to get for all.  I can however understand where the frustration lies given just how great Ninja ended up being, independent of any other free time sensitive login champs now or in the future. I just don't see an option like a swap being realistic, however. 

Guess  was  just  hoping,  maybe  a  buff  for  sharpshooter  taking  the  orc/ogryn  faction  off  his  attacks  and  keeping  the  attacks  as  they  are  would  be  something.

The  difference  between  the  two  is  so  far  apart  i  can  see  why  people  really  upset  ,  cant  see  them  nerfing  Ninja  because  the  backlash  would  probably  be  worse  than  giving  sharpshooter  a  little  buff.

always thought a cool passive would make him more viable.  something like his real life persona:

If he is the last survivor on his team, he gets increase attack, increase crit damage, increase speed, block debuffs, and is immediately granted a turn.  If he kills an enemy, buffs get extended and he gets an extra turn, etc

I'll bet the real issue is contractual.  They'd probably need the real Ninja's permission.  

You'd think they'd be able to just do a pallete swap and hand out a new champion called, like, "Blinja" or "Nonja", or something.

Some like Aleks, others see the equivalent of warmaiden but requires lego books :)

Find it quite hard to understand why Ninja (probaly his agent) would put in the contract that his champion should be exclusive login reward. The contract might very well have ended up that way. But Plarium should only have promissed that he would only be promoted for a limited amount of time. Not that he could not be gained in any way shape or form after the promotion ended.

I  support  you!  Ninja  is  like  a  different  level  to  the  sharp  shooter  elf  type  thingy  thing.  

i  dont  use  the  sharp  shooter  even.  

they  should  give  starters  ninja  back  again.
