Both ayumilove and hellhades are good places to start for masteries. Can always double check on here if you're curious, too. 

I've heard of the double spacing issue.  It's just a thing, don't worry about it.

Hellhades has a lot of good info.  But all masteries are just rules of thumb.  Use the guides to start but think about the champ, where you want to use them, and how you want to build them.  Most mid/late game players use masteries that make the most sense in context.

I  just  am  trying  to  make  my  champs  stronger.  Even  maxed  theyre  not  strong  in  my  opinion.  I  can  solo  kael  on  everything up to nightmare  4  i  think.  to  me  solo  means  him  with  a  1*  common or  2*  or  whatever since he gets killed in the first round.  Or  dont  even  get  to  move.

i  have  masteries  maxed  on  say  ninja  for  offense  and  defense.  Crit  %  and  crit  damage  and  so  on.  i  want  kael  strong/offense,  but  dont  know  with  so  many  masteries.

i  just  dont  know  anything  about  who  is  good  with  who  and  what  artifacts  to  use  etc.  i  cant  tell  differences  when  playing  in  different  artifacts  etc.  over  my  head.
