You'll still want to do Kael first. Drath and Tayrel are nice, but they can't solo farm campaign effectively.

I totally agree with krama. Most important thing at the start: get a champ to lvl 60 who can farm campaign 12-3 brutal together with 3 uncommen food-champs. That gives you the chance to get much more lvl 60 champs fast.

If Tayrel or Rector Drath are better or more valuable in end-game than Kael doesn't matter. First step is making a group of lvl 60 champs. A campaign farmer is the best way to do so.

The best choice is Kael in my opinion. First priority should be a campagne farmer and only Kael fulfills this role.

I am coming back to this to say that it really is a GREAT start to have those three in your starting champs. No need to farm Dec Def, no need to worry about rez/heals. Add an Armiger from the market and any speed booster, like High Khatun when you get her, and you've got a team that can handle most anything. Good stuff.

I agree with everybody else: you want to level Kael first, because he can auto-farm campaign levels, and that's how you level everybody else up.

You should also save 800 gems to buy his masteries when you get him to six stars.  It's generally a better practice to farm Minotaur 15 for that, but in the early going, you probably won't have sufficient firepower.

Was going to agree, but those 3 at 60 may be able to do mino15 with 2 🐔 

You don't want chickens in Mino, they steal the scrolls.

I assume Trips meant with two other champs that also want scrolls, but that can benefit from the xp gained at the same time?
