Geomancer is EXCELLENT as a second DPS in the 1:1 teams. Especially in Unkillable, when his reflects get really powerful in the back half of your 50 turns.

Draco will be handling all the poisons you need, but another option you already have upgraded is Jintoro. Jintoro does a Dec Def/Weaken, allowing you to look at turning off Draco's A3, meaning more of the A1, which hits harder with more debuffs. Could start with him while you are building Geo.

Ninja might do well too. But, since this is a 1:1 team, I still think Geomancer is better than both Ninja or Jintoro. 

I have built CA champ, Geomancer, Double Maneater squads and seen them do 50-60million on UNM for a couple people.

does geomancer have to be booked?

Yes, he will need to be booked. His A2 and his A3 at least. :D
