Is this a thing? Haven't seen any yet, are they proposing adding it?

More variety the better, and hydra isn't that bad.  We are just lazy. Shit, my clan still has people not doing easy clan quests.

@everyone Few more "unannounced" changes coming in the upcoming patch (we expect sometime tomorrow with the fusion):

HYDRA Phase 2 has been initiated   Thus, the upcoming release will bring HYDRA-related Clan Quests and UX improvements. 

(1) HYDRA-related Clan Quests

We're planning to add 6 new Clan Quests to the existing pool of quests: 3 for Expert Difficulty and 3 for Elite.

Just like all the other Quests, these new ones will appear in-game at random after the refresh.

(2) HYDRA UX Updates

Moreover, we're planning to add an option to View and Hide the HYDRA Battle List and a pop-up with detailed info about your Team's performance in each Battle with HYDRA. It will also allow you to see the performance of your Clanmates. 

Generally, I agree with you...but imagine the quest being tied to nightmare Hydra and stuff....well. my clan cannot beat hard...so these quests will automatically be closed for say 90% of te player base. An option of varietay would be, if it could be achieved by at least 50% of the players....I doubt that the Hydra goals will be achievable for that number of players...so it is a restriction in my point of view

Well, that's why they'll be in the expert and elite quest section. True end game players who are able to achieve nm hydra need quests too. 

Hasn't Plarium programed us to be lazy?

Isn't one of the reason they give for not putting auto complete in is because people have built speed auto teams?

Isn't it  in the missions challenges to finish X on auto for all the dugeons?

I'm not really sure that's what he was saying. In this hypothetical that player can take the hardest quests available which in turn makes it easier for the rest of their clan if they so choose.

In any case, how about we save the pitchforks for something confirmed and visible rather than potential and unseen. Thanks.

They like a challenge, and these current easy quests are too easy. If Plarium were changing all the quests to hydra quests that only the top 1% could do, then you would have a valid argument. 

A challenge is one thing....most of the current quests are not necessarily a challenge but a pure *spend ressources*-type of quest. 

Yes, some of them are very easy to do if you are willing to spend the ressources (like killing 2000 Spiderlings or running a dungeon 200 times). But I also think that the rewards are very meager and the clan shop reflects the low difficulty of some of the quests.

For example....2-3 clan members get lucky each week and get a couple of hundred points to run CB which they already do daily. But if you look at what they can get from it: one 3* chicken...well that reflects the low difficulty and is fitting.

If you on the other hand are left with a quest like: Place 100 Block Revives on Ice Golem 20+ you really already now think about whether this is worth it to get one 3* chicken.

Now imagine quest linked to Hydra will be added to the game. Not all of us will be able to complete those quests...so the pool of doable or at least rewarding quests is diluted. This leads to further conflict as even now there is a low grumble about some people having the chance to be online to always getting the comfortable quest upon resetting. I doubt that this will improve if quests appear which noone wants to take.

Plarium programed us to be lazy ?

If that were so, you could use insta finish to all dungeons, FW or other stages, what you completed before to 3 stars.

But no, still need to long hours to working in RSL for progress. Just me the CBs 1,5 hours, all FW keys for glyps plus half hour, and i cant did anything else. Tired from long hours long working in game. What need a player for a game ? Enjoying , fun etc. Not a boring work day by days. The game need change for faster gameplay. 8 hours tiring grinding for every day ? This is not an Eve Online, where was two days long  fleet battles with 4k peoples. 

While I tend to agree with this, isn't it already the case that the 'survive 49 turns' vs NM/UNM are already beyond 90% of players?  And many of the others as well?  I'm not arguing for these clan quests, just saying there are already numerous ones that I can't complete.

Yes, there are quite some which cannot be finished by me as well. But I do not think that it gets better for the average player if more and supposedly much more difficult quest get into the pool.
