 How many shards did you pull? I'm not a math expert by any means but I think the odds of getting a second legendary are pretty similar to pulling 20 sacreds on a 2x event.

20th (edit: actually 19th) Sacred since last Leggo.  One of my longest dry streaks.  Highligted are new to me.  I had a 20% chance on that particular shard.

I was dumb, 16 shards down the drain just before fusion...

 Cool. No doubt your account is a lot more developed than mine if you have that many sacreds to pull but FWIW Vrask has done amazing work for me everywhere but Classic Arena.

It's not dumb, it's just luck.

I haven't built him yet. I have way more champs than I have decent gear or time lol.  Still there are some I'm dying to have (Valk that evil temptress, come to me!)

 Valkyrie has been at the top of my want list since I started playing the game. I have yet to get a legendary from a shard but maybe soon. :-)

I think I was dumb, lol. Opening during event with guaranteed lego books was the smart choice. But oh well.  I knew it, but was bored and said wtf.  At least I had 3 left when I hit  :)

Well, yeah I hear ya.  And you still have the chance of pulling a leggo along with the garanteed points and top prize.  But you never know.  I still have 2.
